It's fair to compare current Sr's, Jr's and even So's to past classes but lets reserve judgement on this years Fr. class until we see some real dividends. I'm optimistic and it looks promising so far but we can't be sure that they'll be anything more than some past classes.

Haldeman I can see. Brown has the role of being the team’s best perimeter defender, and I think this is at least year two of that. That’s harder to replace, but not impossible. His length and quickness go into that, and those are things this team is always short on (no pun intended).

Does anyone know if we are still actively looking to use the last two scholarships with transfers and/or spring signings?

We will have both Ty's (Pickford and Anderson) to handle that role. Pick will be ready to step into that role right away next year, with Tytan getting ready to fill those shoes a year later.

Pickford is really good on the ball right now, maybe as good as Brown, but doesn't have Brown's length to help cover the floor in help defense. Brown will be much tougher to replace than you think, especially if his jumper can remain reliable for the remainder of the year. Spencer's departure will free up a lot of shots on the offensive end. It will be interesting to see the development of Carter and the addition of Born to see how the offense changes. Or if AJ moves off the ball and Kimmons runs point?

Iowa's recruiting class is ranked 11th out of 14 in the B1G, 2 of the teams behind them are only signing one, and the third is Rutgers....yikes
