You realize Wichita and Creighton being gone makes it HARDER to get into the NCAA Tournament, right?

I'd prefer that seeding versus 7-10 and facing a 1 or 2 seed in the second round. Other than that, it is tough to spin the performances from the past two weeks into a positive.

This season is already a good season from this group. We're a year ahead of schedule and if we can get into the tournament to get the experience, a lot like the 09 team.

The program is in great shape again.

I don't think anybody would be thrilled to go to the NIT. The goal is still the NCAA tourney, but the NIT is still better than what we've had the last 3 years. Win out to Sunday in St Louis, and get a couple home NIT games as the worst case scenario? That's still a decent consolation prize - the home games could cure the bubble bursted blues. Heck, I think we'd really have a legit shot at winning it. With that said, gimme an 11 seed and let's make some noise in the big dance.

    Palm does too.

Will step in and say that Palm SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS at this.

Bracketville, who allegedly is the 'best' at this, would have us as the first team out if we didn't have the auto.

Again. All is not lost. Win the next 5 and the absolute worst case scenario is 3 NIT home games and having to make some P5s come here.

If we're 26-5 with a NET in the 30s by the time the MVC Championship game rolls around, I feel good about our chances. If we're not, well...

This is the time of year that stuff hits the fan. I feel like winning five in a row gets us back into the mid 30's and we have a shot if we don't win six in a row. Maybe?

By the Kentucky rule it's okay to lose to Evansville at home so I'm sure the same standard applies to us....

Ditto. I'll watch, but confidence of us getting in won't be too high.

Down to a 10 seed against Michigan in Cleveland (I have been there, it does not rock as much as people would have you believe) in Lunardi's latest bracket. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...l/bracketology
