Just ignore logic when talking about a formula hidden in a black box that no one seems to have access to. It's DEFINITELY not rigged for the P6 and CBS/Turner.

Somebody send Dave Preston a fruit basket. He's been the best to us all year. Only voter that has us in his poll this week at 24.

2 with the current mid major climate but it should be 3

Not getting in next year would be completely inexcusable barring any major injuries and I will probably feel the same way about his senior year.

2 is a fair number, and 3 is very doable and would be excellent.

the years of multiple bids from non power conferences are all but over. WSU and Creighton would make it more difficult. Valley likely will never get three bids again. The big boys won’t stand for it.

uni last won the Valley regular season in 2010.

since WSU left uni wasn’t getting an at large no matter what, they have been been very average at best, and that’s being very kind.
This is year three without CU and Wichita. Loyola won the first two. One of those was a Final Four team. We haven't been very good. We have a chance to win one in year 3.

If you take CU and WSU out of the picture we win a title in 2012, 2013, and 2015....and come in second a couple other times. For what its worth.

Also, I'm just gonna say it. It bothers me that you don't capitalize your sentences, but for the most part use correct capitalization and pronunciation otherwise lol.

AJ, Trae and Austin are certainly a hell of a starting point. And I have hopes that the MVC might *might* be good enough for multiple bids next year. Loyola is starting 5 juniors and getting Kaifes back. Bradley losing a lot but had Childs and some other talent back. SIU starting 2 freshmen and another FR and SO in their top 7, and getting Cook back. Trees starting 2 freshmen and Key is a junior. Valpo brings back everyone but Fazekas. Drake brings back everyone but Murphy.

Should be a fun year next year. Hopefully this one continues to be fun.
I know everyone on here seems to think UNI will be the favorites next year, but Loyola makes a pretty strong case. You can easily argue the two best players in conference could be Green and Phyfe, but can they get consistent support? Loyola also seems to have the forumula for beating UNI. Losing Brown is going to be an issue. I expect Born and/or Carter to be able to replace the shooting/scoring of Haldeman and Henry/Betz should be able to provide a boost behind Phyfe, but Brown creates a lot of flexibility on defense with his ability to guard multiple positions. Pickford can do that to some extent, but 6'3" is a lot different than a long 6'7".

I'm not saying it should be all in on this year, but I would argue this year is right on schedule after 3 down years. The ability to build on it into next year would be more of the anomaly as historically it's been an every 4 year type of deal. This really should be the start of 3 good years with AJ and Austin assuming they can replace Brown this year and Pickford & Berhow the following year.

I think a big piece to helping the offense would be to add another layer of threat in the high post handoffs. It would be really nice if we can get AP or another threat to shoot, pass or drive out there. I know AP can shoot the shot...saw him in HS...not sure why we’ve not seen him even look for it this year. You’d think that would open up lanes more or at least keep the hedge defense more confined. Maybe shooting the 3ball there isn’t the be-all-end-all, but I think adding wrinkles in the offense with that high post would be nice to see for next year...or even this year.
