Missouri Valley attendance so far listed in the Peoria Journal Star.
    Attendance average: 1. Evansville 5,561; 2. Bradley 5,139; 3. Illinois State 4,356; 4. Missouri State 3,987; 5. SIU 3,955; 6. UNI 3,496; 7. Indiana State 3,366; 8. Valparaiso 2,797; 9. Loyola 2,704; 10. Drake 2,517.
Safe to say that the excitement around Evansville should drop off a bit. Bradley has always had great support even when they were going through down years, very impressive. Not impressed with our co defending champs Loyola and Drake.

Loyola at least has the excuse of having a smaller arena, so %wise they're still similar. Drake.....ya that's really bad. Especially with how much money they're putting into the program right now with fan experience, corporate sponsors, and the updates coming to the Knapp.

I remember early his freshman year he had a couple games where he nailed several threes and seemed to have ice water in his veins. Haven’t seen too much of that since, but we’ve seen that he has it in him. Perhaps just a matter of embracing his role on the team, and now that more is needed from him, it comes back. He and Kimmons could be real spark plugs for this team going forward.

Going to need both of them as well as Noah to step up tonight with Spencer likely out.

Would like to see someone step up tonight but don't think we should need anyone to beat Bradley (or anyone in the valley). Even without Spencer we should be able to beat any valley opponent.

I will be interested to see if we continue to play uptempo or not. Can we play defense at that pace? As usual I will beg Jake to play Dahl for half the game and not sit him the second half. We need his disruptive defensive presence. I think Carter will shine with more minutes and Berhow will break out of his one game slump. Brown for Bradley is an incredible guard but has disappeared on occasion this year. Let’s hope the disappearing act happens tonight. Will Bradley play slow? Should be fun, the spread is 7.5 and I am optimistic we can beat that.

Not a great matchup for Dahl tonight. Bar and Boya tend to play in the high post. I'd expect Betz to get some run tonight.

I don’t buy the Dahl matchup theory and I think Betz should have been redshirted. We have Dahl and McDonnell as backups. Next year we are short big men and I think we will be sorry to waste a year on Betz riding the pine most of time anyway.

Dahl has been effective because he's used in situations that fit his skill set.

We aren't short bigs. Phyfe, Betz, Henry, Krogmann. That's plenty when you play 4 guards all the time and they all have at least two years left.

I think we still see a lot of Dahl tonight. One of his better games as a Panther was the conference opener last year at Bradley. He can play with those two, especially since Childs isn't playing.

Are cheerleaders counted in the attendance totals, and if so, would pregnant cheerleaders count as 1 attendee or 2?
And UNI's attendance average is closer to Loyola and Drake than it is to Evansville or Bradley

Illinois State 0-10 from deep in the first half against SIU tonight. Fun.

Evansville and Bradley are also in towns that are substantially bigger than the WCF area, both around 10k larger.
