Game 5: UNI @ St. Bonaventure

Didn't catch this one live yesterday, but my gosh, what a fun game. It was incredibly fun watching AJ go off at the end of the 1st half. About had a heart attack when St. Bona came storming back. Such a gritty win. And... 90 points? This offense is fun to watch when it works like this. I'm starting to understand why Coach Jake has talked up this team so much. When they're healthy and clicking, we could beat just about anyone.

Also, side note, went on the St. Bona board this morning. What a nice bunch of people. They were super complimentary of UNI. I hope they have a great rest of their season.

I also like to check out message boards from teams we don't play a lot and came away from it thinking the same thing. No one really had a bad thing to say about UNI. They just talked about how good AJ was and disappointment in the team only playing 5 people. They of course have a couple outliers but it was a nice read. Hope they continue to have success.

We can't play them first round because we played them in season. I think it isn't until sweet 16 you can potentially matchup with a team you already faced.

If AJ can average 20 points per game from here on out, he'll be into 3rd on the all time scoring list in 3 years plus 3 games while having at least one more game taken from him due to the postseason cancelation.

Now, I think there's pretty much no chance he comes back next year but he could finish 3rd all time in scoring in the Valley, only behind Hersey Hawkins and DJ Balentine, with another AJ like year.
