Game 4: UNI vs Grand Canyon

[PantherAlum09]

Shake off today and get a win before the break. Looking to see some more building confidence for our young guys… which is the whole team pretty much.

[BrockLesnar]

Missing Heise for 5 weeks is rough. Expectations on my part are much lower, now. Another tough matchup, today.

[CyCarp]

I think this is a game we should win, but looks like we're 2.5 point underdogs today.

[kochrab]

Should be another great game today. GCU plays some solid defense. Regardless, this team has taken steps forward already. Duax played incredibly well yesterday. John (James) Betz is showing off his ability to play inside and out. If we can put together a complete 40 minutes, we have a great chance.

[Mad Dog]

Looks like a 2nd half hangover from yesterday.

[DownGoesKansas]

It might be a long year. We are very young so let's hope for some development. (which we have no reason to think won't happen

[sivert]

Staying with them after the first five-minute debacle.

ok….

[PantherAlum09]

Well. The refs were certainly letting them be physical early. That's putting it nicely, and now we just are getting outsized everywhere except for Duax. He's the only guy that can match the strength and athleticism of these bigger teams. That's obviously not ideal.

ok….

Why'd you have to say that

[kochrab]

Well. Couldn't have gotten much worse of a half against GCU. Duax is most definitely a bright spot. That kid is going to do some great stuff during his time.

Glad we didn't take a big man from the portal when we knew Phyfe would miss at least a chunk of the season because we didn't recruit them out of high school or they weren't a perfect fit and instead punted on the season.

[orangetennis]

Second chance points 19-0. That's about all you need to know

Phyfe wasn’t expected to be out, and we don’t have scholarships to give anyhow. Why is this so hard?

Keep *****ing though.

[kochrab]

Great start to the 2nd half! 2 quick buckets. Keep it up.

We don't have scholarships? Please explain, because that is flat out wrong. We have 2 scholarships we could've used on a 1 year transfer.
