We host Omaha tonight. They sit at 292 in the KenPom rankings and we are at 109. Marquel Sutton is their main offensive threat at 6'7". I hope we play in a similar fashion as the Northern Illinois game. It would be great to make another statement.

Omaha is a physical, athletic team. Not very skilled at shooting, most of them, but they played us strong and that was a good test. Also gave us a lot of practice against the press. The majority of the time, Schweiger brought it up the floor, probably because of who was guarding him, but Ben is a capable ball handler.Comment

Happy to get the win. Not an impressive game.
We have no guard play. If Trey doesnt hit jumpers, we got nothing there. Our bigs can’t finish. Redek Born is going to play? Why?
You guys keep asking for Wes Rubin to play. That guy is 20 lbs overweight from the looks of it. There is no way he can see the floor. Get in shape, my God.
The most important guys that this team needs right now are Max and Kyle Pock and they did absolutely nothing tonight against an inferior opponent.
I am not optimistic for this team. Feels like another .500 season.
Can’t wait to be “young” again next year so there is a built in excuse for not winning again.
