Am I counting right, that’s 9 turnovers in the last 12 possessions? Good news is we’re 67% shooting when we don’t turn it over!

Man these games have not been flukes. Just getting controlled from start to finish most games in January.

I suspected, when there was talk of MVC titles earlier this year, that we were underestimating the losses of Hutson and (especially) Tytan. But I didn't think the wheels would completely come off like this. I just thought we were probably an upper mid-tier MVC team. This is getting into worst BJ team of all time territory.

Do we know why Trey hasn’t played in over 12 minutes? Injured or being taught a lesson?

wow embarrassing. There's no effort shown by our guys. The players got to play like this is their season from here on. I love RJ but please never recruit anyone again under 6'3 because they're just a defensive liability.

It took 14 minutes of game time for the announcers to notice that our “Larry Bird Watch” player wasn’t playing. Not KL’s best effort tonight.

Having the best scoring defense in the country does not equal worst BJ team of all time even with the offensive inconsistency. Have to see how the rest of the season turns out and whether Tristan is back sooner or later. Right now, either the 20-21 team or the 17-18 (funny enough given they were a top 5 scoring defense that year) would be my pick for that honor.

If it continues like this for the remainder of the year I think it is a no doubter worst BJ team for me. I think/hope they can still find another gear.

I also give 20-21 a pass because of the Covid weirdness and the injuries.

All I can say is we need Tristan Smith back in the lineup. Might not win a road game the rest of the season without him. Side note, don't forget that the 18-19 team finished with a 9-9 record in conference play and made a run to the MVC championship somehow. Anything can happen in St. Louis.

This evolved from missing shots to just a bad game. I know the staff is not coaching them to stand around, pass without looking and whatever. Really was hoping a floor leader would emerge… a “play with my intensity” and get in teammates’ faces presence. An “I want to go to the FT line 10 times tonight” guy. Smith picked up that a bit and that’s been missing.

                      it’s frustrating because
                      -we know they have ability
                      -they’re getting open shots
-we saw the athleticism early in the year

Remember when James Betz had the false positive COVID test and they were required to forfeit their St. Louis quarterfinal? Ah, the memories.

When he slipped and turned the ball over right away in the second half, it was hard to tell whether that was sloppy play or if he tweaked something

Another two hours of watching the other team - taller, faster, wider, better athletes - outclass us.
Even though they are younger than us.

                              But there is hope.
At least five of our guys (three+ starters) will be gone next year.

We're just so soft. It takes nothing for us to just check out mentally.

                                It's real frustrating.
