He's down to either coming back or going to Oakland. It's going to be one or the other, he just hasn't decided yet.

Can't fault him either way on that. There's some family legacy at Oakland and Kampe would be a fun one to play for. I just think he will play a lot for us this year and I'd love to see what he could do with a little more run.

I cannot imagine Jake does not have a spot for him, he is our most versatile and athletic player.

While Utah is beautiful I see the bigger thing being not wanting to go all the way out there.

If Wisconsin and ISU are sniffing around I understand why the wait, but with Tuttle back maybe something crazy can happen through the power of friendship

You never know I guess. Although, it may be a money issue. Here's to hoping they have bigger priorities than Bond & our relationship carries. Kyle Green's credibility & reputation are really going to be put to the test until he builds a UNI head coaching resume. Having great assistants will help that. But collectively, we do need to be good salesman in the interim. I'm really hoping we fill the last assistant seat with a tireless recruiting type that can really relate w/ that generation of player.

Massive. He’s gonna be a menace, hopefully we can fill out the rest of the roster to allow him to continue to grow

decent chance he’d be gone after next year if a good year but better than if he left now

One way or another he and Geon will be involved in the return game to Oakland that we only took so they could go home lol

Sounds like he's a Minneapolis native and former head coach of a D3 in that area. Between Green, Sonnen, and Abe we have 3 guys that should have the Twin Cities/Wisconsin area covered well.

As a D3 coach he should have lots of relationships with coaches from D2 & 3. That is where we need to be strongest. We won’t outbid schools for stars so we will need to find value in the other levels.

Pretty varied experience- Bowdoin, Dartmouth, Davidson, Siena out east, Denver this last year but earlier stints in Las Vegas and Pasadena with club programs it looks like.

                      Welcome aboard Coach!

He’s an offensive coach! From Minneapolis. Played guard in college. Led conference in assists two years. Green has it going on. Great, young staff

What if hornseth, bond & zens don’t make it to logan? What if he just gets 1? This has the potential of not breaking right for jacobson. Certainly wouldn’t be a good look for him.

Zens has Illinois and Wisconsin offers. I'd be surprised if he ends up in Utah. Iowa State is also sniffing around on LB. Would be hard to turn that down if an offer comes.

agreed. If he loses Tuttle, Bond & Zens. And Hornseth goes to Wisconsin or elsewhere, I think that will be a very tough start for Jacobson. Especially w/ all that NIL money that's rumored. I really like our position moving forward. Now, it's more getting the puzzle pieces to fit. I think this staff will recruit & coach their azzes off.
