If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

        I prefer Beck's wings
"I think they're very good," Farley said of the preseason top 25 Hawkeyes. "But so are we."

Can't believe they're taking so long to open. They'll miss a lot of football season.

It takes a while to wire in that control board to send games into overtime and whatnot.

Never been much of a wing fan myself (though I do like breasts and thighs ), so they won't get much patronage from me. But they're obviously a popular chain and should do well.

They have a ton more than wings. Hopefully they're interested in sponsoring UNI athletics.

I think the excitement is coming more from the fact that bonanza will no longer be around.

                        I agree.
                        It is very overrated.

Best wings I ever had were at Sticky Fingers in Chatty. I wish Cedar Falls was getting a Sticky Fingers!

not to be confused with Stinky Fingers, which is a whole other type place.
and you definitely don't want to eat food from there.

i looked into a BWW franchise in CF when Camp David closed and that building became available. i was still living in CF at the time. BWW corporate required a commitment to open at least two restaurants per owner and the franchise fees were over $400k. that location would have killed, but i am not sure where another good spot would have been. my best idea was waverly.

i loved bonanza growing up. in 1994, my senior year football team ate there on the thursday before our first game. since we won, we decided to go back, and everyone ordered the same thing. we went wire-to-wire #1, finishing 13-0. i havent been back since, nor do i ever want to see, smell, or taste chicken monterey again.
