They could do that...but referees still don't appreciate it when you put 12 players on a side. Kinda unfair when the defense only has 11.

That was my thought, this will be a good game to let the back-ups get a lot of reps.

I do hope the Panthers keep the ball on the ground and the clock moving and get out with no stupid/silly injuries.

Drake is a 2/3ers pass - 1/3rd run offense and that alone could run fans out of the dome once the Panthers gets up by three touchdowns.

Like to see Carnes get a bunch of work at WR against Drake. I figure he needs the most work at that. Let him qb in the late part of the game and throw a few passes.

Dont want to see any of the horses get hurt against Drake.

In a purely selfish point of view - since this is one of the few home games I'll be able to get to this year, I want to see a ton of DJ and I want to see bombs down the field.

Iowa State fans complain about Iowa fans because of the lack of respect that they show to the other teams in the state. Then Iowa State fans turn around and act the exact way to us when we play them and we complain. Then we turn around and act the exact way to Drake when we play them. Circle of life.

That said, yeah, we're probably going to win big. They did beat Illinois State once a few years ago if memory serves, and I believe they've won back to back Pioneer League titles, so they are a pretty good program.......but they don't have scholarships.

They lost to Grand View too, but I believe Grand View is NAIA so they do have scholarships correct? If that is the case I am not surprised that is a competitive game.

My prediction is pain. Keiser QBs the second half. He's probably better than Iowa's QB.

They lost a lot of talent including their best QB in the history of the program. It could be a rough year for Dawg fans if Creighton doesn't pick up the pieces quickly.

I do hope we have near 16K or more for a crowd, to help our motivate our Panthers in the event a case of "overlook" settles in.

I don't think we'll overlook the "Harvard of the Midwest" (LOL), but one never knows. I want to put it to the Bullfrogs early and often, like we did the last time we played them.

So Drake fans are going to show Iowa a lack of respect?

I can't see the connection either.

No, I think that honor belongs to Grand View fans at this point.

How much is Drake getting paid for this game?

I don't think anything, I bet we go there within the next 3 years, which is essentially another home game for us
