I think zero. I recall something about a home & home. maybe two for one.

I meant that last weekends win can really boost excitement and ticket sales going forward. That doesn't happen at Iowa or isu.

I see that this game is on 5.2 in dsm

Drake owed us at least one return game already. The last two times we played were in Dsm.

The payment to Drake is the opportunity to play an OOC D1 opponent that isn't a handout from an old coach or a pre-conference tune up.

That was a 2 for 1 series, they didn't owe us any return games.

Drake should be on our schedule as often as possible... Even playing Drake in Des Moines is a good thing for us.

I do think the series may reach a point where injuries from physical mismatches may compel Drake to want to end the series. Not being facetious. The last game in Des Moines was one where there could have been concern for Drake's physical team health.

That's what I thought. There is no owing. There either are or are not contractual obligations for future games.

I suspect 2013 is a straight paycheck game, but that will be up to someone with press credentials to confirm. I'm curious about the dollar amount.

I agree about the mismatches, however Drake plays an MVFC opponent most years. Might as well be us. They are also now 'playoff' eligible through their conference's auto bid, which means they will be striving to play the UNIs of FCS as a goal. (I don't need any smarties to tell me they were already technically playoff eligible...the auto bid is their only realistic shot).

Good point. If they want to be a true FCS playoff team, they'll have to compete as such.

NAIA does have scholarships. Drake beat Grand View last year, so I don't know if that tells us anything about the 2013 team or not. Drake usually is a very good non-scholarship team, but will lose to FCS opponents. I don't expect a "bloodbath", though. I solid win for UNI, maybe 40-17.

My prediction for the game, we score at least one defensive touchdown

He also said we are at near capacity for Saturday.

Get your tickets... lets fill it up!

Went to get tickets and there was almost nothing good left. Only tix available are on the ends, should be a good crowd.
