That might be the only potentially acceptable way.

Even then, we already will have to play somewhere else, get other games there

That 24 schedule is just ridiculous. Someone should be fired before we continue with a schedule of no home games halfway through the season.

We need to get out of going to St Paul some way some how. Get a home game with Upper Iowa if necessary. Four home games for the duration? WTF... How on Earth are we traveling to a St. Thomas? They're a step down. Unbelievable...

I was extremely close to not renewing my season tickets for this year. Looking at this upcoming schedule has made my decision to not renew for next year a lot easier. Four home games is ridiculous. Granted UNI will get more money traveling than playing at home, but they will continue to lose fans and interest in the program as this continues.

2024 is a 12 game year (technically I believe could even do 13 with the Hawaii clause) we should also be allowed to play on week o if we wanted too. So we will most likely get another home game. Knowing are department though the home game will probably be that years big sky champ which we will squeeze in the week after we go to Hawaii. I believe the last time we bought a non conference football game was in 2014 (Tennessee tech).

Even with a 12 plus maybe another the season is set up to get Farley fired. Then we replace him with 4/5 the talent to save those precious dollars all to go 5-6 or 4-7 in 2025. Thanks for the warning shot two years in advance.

I'd go with another Big Ten team in Week 0 in Ireland and then choose whichever Big Sky or WAC school is the most difficult to get to.

We are not a serious Division I Athletic Program anymore. It was intentional and David Harris was the one sent to do it.

We're leading into 2,900 in attendence, an easy W for most, and irrelevancy of 4-7.

Can you say 70-14 at Fargo on Homecoming every other year. Hell, let's just schedule Wartburg and Ankeny Bible College to get the ball rolling.

But that'd actually be pretty cool and a nationally broadcast game, at least go something like "Northwestern buy game"

Honestly, that's the best possible way to round our schedule out. And we are actually much closer to Dublin than Honolulu so it wouldn't even be our longest road trip of the season

                        Week 0 in Ireland - 7,200 miles
Week 1 in St. Paul - 450 miles
                        Week 2 in Lincoln - 600 miles
                        Week 3 in Honolulu - 8,000 miles

16,250 miles covered in the OOC. Don't turn the dome lights on once. Get paid to play 3 of the 4.

MVFC road games of UND, WIU, YSU, NDSU

We damn near hit the mother load of longest potential miles traveled in the MVFC in 2024 as well. Had WIU and MOSU been swapped I think we would have had the most total possible miles in the MVFC UNI can travel covered. WIU being the shortest possible MVFC game ****s it all up

Total road trips in 2024 for MVFC
                        YSU - 1400 miles
                        UND - 1060 miles
                        NDSU - 902 miles
                        WIU - 422 miles

Another 3784 miles, which would bring out total to over 20,000 miles traveled in 12 weeks - but I'm sure Jay would find a reason got go" Schedule doesn't matter and the place of the game doesn't matter"

Missouri State would be 924 - an extra 502 miles. Damn you WIU.

The perfect season, really. Play a games 11 time zones apart in a 4 week span to book end 4 games between those 11 time zones? I'm sure that's GREAT for student athletes balancing athletics and academics. I'm sure it's perfectly fine for recovery. I mean, actually if you look at David's goals it would be the best potential way to meet his goal of creating new experiences for student athletes. What better way to talk about how great you are at creating opportunies than showing your teams Dublin and Honolulu 4 weeks apart...if you ignore the 4 football games in 4 weeks as part of that.

Shame we aren't playing Hawaii this year, they just got blown out of the water by Vanderbilt. I'm a negative guy and even I think we could beat this year's Hawaii team by double digits based on what I saw today.

I'm not sure they get much better. No real home stadium. Way under qualified coach that got hired because he played there. About as uncertain a future as you can have with realignment. It's a program in trouble.

Just took a look at 2024….wow….who put this schedule together. Bad high school teams don’t get a crap schedule like this. Half a season before a home game? Ouch….that will sure help recruiting.

it's horrendous. The only thought I've had on this schedule is that the Dime isn't thought to be available BUT that still doesn't really matter. If we're playing in Waterloo that year, why wouldn't we want to play when it's nice out?
