Howdy y’all, figured a thread to centralize any coaching hires, transfer portal entries, any other noteworthy items would be valuable.

I thought he had a really nice year on D in 2024. Kind of got lost in the malaise that was the 9 game L streak.

Probably going to be a bit of a wild ride... 12 commits yesterday though. Too bad on Bey Buie had a little traction when he first got here...injuries took him off the field and others performed well enough he never got back. It will be a wild portal year i'm sure.

Yeah hate to lose him. He got a few carries early in the season and looked really good. I thought he looked a step quicker than prior year.

That was going to happen regardless of whether there was a coaching change or not.

He wants to play at the next level and there wasn't going to be a path here as the only guy you had to worry about up front.

I really interested to see who stays and who leaves, or is asked to leave. Realistically if FBS schools are losing roster spots there isn't going to be the push for FCS players unless they are a sure fire bet. I also think there are going to be a bunch of quality players looking for a home that hopefully we can pick up. I don't think we need to tell the entire roster to hit the road, but a large reset is probably needed.

In the past few years, a large number of students who enter the portal don't move to a new school. I believe it has been the majority. Some enter and have no offers and are without a school.

And, yeah, there is going to be a lot of students from FBS programs looking for a home at FCS schools with the new roster limits. An FCS school *could* see half their starters from FBS schools next season. It's going to be free agency gone wild this off-season.

Because UNI pays significantly better and invests more in football. This is 100% a better job than Drake. Also, she's listing off his accomplishments, which most recently came while at Drake. Being mad that she's doing that is just juvenile.
