Not taking UNI lightly at all- I'm fully aware UNI is a good team. Just with a RPI of 70- you do nothing for Siena. With a home win our RPI won't change much at all. The Saints needed a top 50 win. And now we have to trek out to the middle of nowhere next year for the return game. I would have rather played a regional opponent like Northeastern , VCU or George Mason- all of whom have better RPI’s than UNI. Hopefully UNI can stay hot and come out to Albany with a strong RPI

Sorry, but there's all sorts of arrogance seeping through your post. The fact that you'd rather play one of those three teams because they're "regional", offends me.

You don't seem to understand that with the way we're playing, we were your best chance at a "top 50" win. (Given Butler and Utah State just weren't going to happen). We have just as good of a shot, if not better, of finishing the season with a higher RPI than NE, VCU, or GM.

Your team was chosen to play in one of the 3 best games on Bracketbuster Saturday. Be happy. We'll be ready.

And for the record, RPI of 50 or not, you will need THIS game if Niagra would upset you in your conference tourney, because you probably wouldn't make the Dance.

Just take care of St. Peters tonight. We need you to keep winning.

We've been dogs more times than not the last 10 games, including at a sub-.500 Missouri State bunch that we ran off their floor for 35 minutes before coasting to a win.

Want to run? Great, Illinois State wanted to run, too. They got 55 points. Drake wanted to run, they got 59. We've been a top 25 defensive scoring average team for most of the last 5 years. You're not Marquette.

Honestly, do we have to have a pi$$ing match with these guys for the next few weeks? It's in our interest for them to do well, and in theirs for us to do well.

This is a great draw for us, and a chance to improve our RPI and get a much needed big win.

It just gets old thats all. One fan from school X shoots their mouth off and many folks on PN gets overly agitated and by the end of the agonizing build up to whatever game we're 'discussing' everyone 'hates' said school when really its just one or a few people that might be irritating.

I just wonder what it would be like if 'we' (overgeneralizing for hypocricy sake) just for once ignored any potential blowhards from an opposing school and thus kept our panties from getting into a bunch.

I went on their site and they seem to be taking us lightly. I didnt say I hated their entire fan base, that would be putting words in my mouth, I just said that they appear to be taking us lightly.
