Does USC not being eligible for postseason play mean, they can't even play in the PAC-10 tourney? Who would get the bye in the play-in game?

I think it varies from conference to conference but in a case like this, they would play in the Pac 10 tourney.

USC is not playing in the Pac 10 tournament. I would assume 7 seed gets a bye, 8 plays 9.

Texas is about to go down to Kansas State. Meaning, as of tonight, we have the 2nd longest winning streak in the country. Hopefully we keep it going tomorrow night.

Thanks. Like I said, it varies from conference to conference. I believe N.C. St. has played in the ACC tournament while ineligible for the NCAA tournament and I think Kentucky has done the same for the SEC tournament. It probably depends on how much of a draw that team is for the conference tournament. Personally I don't think it's fair for a team ineligible for the NCAAs to play in the conference tournament.
