    George Mason = Straight outa the hood

    Sat right behind the GM bench tonight. Never been so mad at the way an opposing team behaved.

    Safe travels back to the Ghetto. No margin of victory will be enough when we get to play them again.

    Unless you can site examples of what they did, this is an unnecessary thread. They played physical and were allowed to get away with it, but I don't think there was anything thuggish about it, just plain old style-Southern Illinois style rugbyball that was permitted on one end and whistled on the other.

      When Long fouled out and the students were doing the left/right/left routine did he pimp them a little? I've always watched for some guy to fake the sitting down and I thought he might have actually tried it tonight?

        hopefully we actually have someone to put in the paint offensively & defensively next time. We shot out of our arse from 3 & still got beat. Welcome to the donut team.

          Yes he did. He pimped it. I wouldnt call Northern VA, especially Fairfax the ghetto. It is one of the richest counties in the country. It was an excellent game and was very physical and calls were missed on both sides. Dont be bitter. CAAZONE!

            yea they faked it and I agree with the OP. The GM fans are great but they players were pretty classless.
            (217): Just watched a UNI fan at the bar lick the tears off of a KU fans face.. See what march madness does to people

              Not to flame, but I'm curious for examples?

              Other than Cornelius shushing the crowd (and you have to admit, he had reason to have issue with them after they booed him when he got hurt), I didn't see anything?

                boo hoo. I thought your whole crowd booing cornelious after he was thrown down and injured was classless. Your crowd booed everything, legit or not. Lets not start with this whole class routine. Linking arms and being excited about a great win is so classless.

                      I agree. I don't know what the OP has to gain and I don't necessarily agree with his take. I also can't figure out what you hope to gain. Do you honestly think you're going to change his mind? Are you planning on becoming a long-time poster? If not, I really don't know what you hope to accomplish.

                        It's their board, dude. You know if the script had been fliped MasonCAA or P8riotfan4life or some other idiot would have posted the same thing on our boards, except it would have been "UNI=corn fed, inbred, meth heads" or some other such nonsense.

                        Every fan base has their knuckleheads, ours included, so lets not jump on them because their knuckleahead made a thread.

                        Their fans have been overwhelmingly cool.

                          Cornelious had a monster game, and was stud after hitting the floor. Saying he was "thrown down", would be at best disengenious (sp?).

                          BTW s the only thing I saw behind GMU's bench was a hello kitty purse. If you don't think our players, or any other team's players, were jawing on the floor, you are misinformed. This is a bad thread.
