Aberdeen, the home of Northern State, is located way north in South Dakota. Close to North Dakota.

I don't know him at all personally, so it is probably not fair to me to say this, but I get the sense he would get upset and check-out if he doesn't start.

Just looked up since I've been curious for a while...Aberdeen is basically located in North Dakota. 26,000 people and the 3rd biggest city in South Dakota.

I am curious to see some of the rotations. Not so much the starting line-up. I am pretty confident in thinking Sonnen will stay on the floor the most as long as he stays clear of fouls. How will Buss be utilized? 3 or 4 or 5? How much will Olivier and Singleton play? Will Bohannon show good enough grasp on defense to keep his shooting in the game? Those are the newcomers. I'm excited to see how they mix with the veterans we know.

Jake has said Buss will mainly play the 3 spot, a little in the 4 spot, but no plans to use him at the 5.

When Buss plays the 3 we're going to have some serious, Wichita State type length on the floor

I believe that AJ plays in exhibition games. Jake said that this was all behind them (even though he hasn't served the suspension yet). It would seem like it wasn't behind them and he was still in the dog house if he didn't get any exhibition minutes.

thats also a good point. jake will have to decide what gives us the best chance to win in cancun...a) establishing a rotation and continuity without AJ or b) getting him on the floor ASAP

I think you have to play AJ in the exhibitions.
"I think they're very good," Farley said of the preseason top 25 Hawkeyes. "But so are we."

Lol at the Fran interview. Good to know we've closed the gap with the Iowa Hawkeyes in basketball. (Hell, "we even beat them last year!")

Also, thanks to the Hawkeyes for us being able to advance to the position we're in, apparently.

Dude seems incredibly arrogant, I hope we piss on them again in Wells Fargo this year.

if you don't think the in-state games greatly helped uni further its program , I don't know what to tell you other than I hope someone asks you to Sadie Hawkins this year.

I can re-listen to it, but first time through it didn't sound like Fran was giving these in-state games "partial" credit for why we got where we are now.

Where did that link go? Was that in another thread? If so, I meant to post on there.

Yep, it was in that other thread. Whoops. The sadie hawkins comment was probably fair

i just thought it was cool that a couple national guys even brought up the uniqueness of the iowa in-state series and the strength of the games.
