Woohoo!!!! The greatest time of year... basketball and football at the same time!
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

fyi, The Briar Cliff game on Saturday tips at 1 PM, and football kicks off at 4PM. Perfect UNI Panther Football/Basketball double header. Sounds like a great day to me!

The last starter will be AJ, right?

I doubt it. Bohannon would be my guess.

Personally, I don't believe AJ will start all year. This team has struggled with offense off the bench, he provides that...

Based on Jake's history of going Jake's history of a 3 guard lineup I'd say Bohannon is a good guess for the extra spot. Really don't need Morrison since he's already got a true point guard out there. Wouldn't mind seeing Chip Rank get it. As to AJ not starting, I'm not sure that would be a great idea. I don't know him at all personally, so it is probably not fair to me to say this, but I get the sense he would get upset and check-out if he doesn't start.

Just looked up since I've been curious for a while...Aberdeen is basically located in North Dakota. 26,000 people and the 3rd biggest city in South Dakota.

Wait, isn't AJ suspended for a few games anyway?

Do exhibition games count, or will he be able to play?

AJ wont start the exhibitions. Im not even counting on him playing, to be honest.

He will get 5-10 minutes a game, Jake realizes that ANTHONY JAMES will be looked upon to be a key contributor this year, and getting him a few exhibition minutes to keep the rust off will benefit the team.

People are looking past the three he is going to miss, but Toledo is pretty good.

I agree with 9yr. I don't think he sees the floor until Louisville.

i think jake would be completely fine sitting his ass down for a long period of time.

But the REALLY important question is, will the pep band show up for more than 3 games this year???
