Your right. A team that boasts as one of its biggest accomplishments so far is losing to Vcu in double ot has every right to say they are better than a team that took down the number one overall seed in the tournament.

He was a gamer, but he was a 6'1" 2 guard who shot <30% from 3.

Sean Stackhouse and Robbie Sieverding could fill it up. Joe B could board like none other. Cory Jenkins, David Gruber are some others that could get some discussion. Not saying they're as good as the 2010/2015 players, but note able. There was at least one JC All American on some of those Weaver teams.

Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

Keep in mind, this was what PN thought of the All-Decade squad during the 2010 season (pre-Sweet Sixteen run).

You are completely right and I for sure thought of Robbie and Joe B and a couple others. I think it was just funny that as a whole, we do tend to block out those years from our memories.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."
