1st Game: Old Dominion

[MNpanthers]

Dang, a nice block turns straight into a throw down by ODU. Either way this D has been stellar. Can't wait to see this transition to MVC play

Both of these teams have been sloppy but it's the first game and its been 100% a result of good defense. The 3's will fall. These are great looks and most of them have been halfway down the cylinder before rimming out. Crazy!

That rim has been the Monarchs MVP hands down

[sevelev711]

It was definitely a good half and it's a shame that's not reflected on the scoreboard. If even just two or three more threes fell, there wouldn't be much to complain about except for some sloppiness from freshmen.

[Wxcpanther]

Good first half overall. Surprising that Betz has taken all the minutes from Luke. Freshman mistakes have been made, but I think more positive than negatives. Spencer will hit a couple in the second half

[Mudrafan]

This team has too many good shooters for the three point shooting to stay this poor in the second half.

You can’t be serious

[sevelev711]

...Maybe they can keep shooting that poorly from the arc...

[MNpanthers]

I swear if another 3 rims out

[sevelev711]

FINALLY MY GOD

Are these rims made out of trampolines or something?

[sevelev711]

There we go, now we're looking good

[MNpanthers]

Haldeman my man!

[sevelev711]

Now we're looking even better. It's been a long time since we've seen an offensive explosion by UNI. Let's keep this rolling.

[MNpanthers]

AJ has had some beautiful passes

[sevelev711]

Phyfe missing 4 free throws in a row is definitely a little bit concerning, I'll admit. He's going to see a lot of time at the line this year, so he's gonna need to find that flow a little bit better.

[CyCarp]

AJs mid range game is so good. He's making some crafty passes tonight too.

[GonzoCat]

Good to see we haven't lost our shooting touch. Another 3-4 straight threes and we'll be pushing 25%.

[sevelev711]

Phyfe driving into the paint is a terrifying thought.
