It doesn’t matter what seed we are. We can beat any team in America this year.
Just have to get in.

Agreed. We were a 9 seed in 2010. Hard to see us getting much higher than that, fair or not.Originally posted by orangetennis View Post
Eh, IDK. The 2015 team was ranked #10 in the country and only got a 5 seed. I have trouble seeing them seed us above a 7, and we'd have to win out. In all likelihood we're wearing purple in round 1, justified or not.

If we'd win out, I'd say 6.
That would make us 30-3 with a NET and KenPom in the upper 20s/Low 30s.

Even with that though, they're still a quad1 win and only dropped a few spots. That shouldn't have impacted SOS that muchOriginally posted by sevelev711 View Post
That'd be our signature win, Colorado, losing to a not very good UCLA.

I'll admit that I've overlooked Phyfe a bit this year. Looking back, he's been tremendous. His illness last year was brutal, but an extra year for him looks real nice right now.Originally posted by sevelev711 View Post
If we didn't have AJ Green, everyone would constantly be raving about how good Phyfe is. Dude's been crushing it, at a high efficiency (shown here), and has been playing some quality defense in the post as well. Certainly "good enough" defense. Very exciting that the main three point shooter and the main post player are both sophomores on a team that's already so good at both aspects.

Phyfe is at 68.5% FG in conference play.
He's gone
7-7
6-9
8-10
7-8
5-7
2-6 - Missouri State
6-8
3-9 - Bradley
6-9
His numbers in MVC play would be POY numbers more years than it's not. He's at 14 ppg 9 rpg 2 apg and nearly a steal per game. Those are insane numbers across the entire stat line to have together.

Up a seed line for Lunardi. 10 seed means he'd have us in either way....

That's an ulcer generating bracket right there... Don't get me wrong it would be fun but stressful to say the least.

That would be awesome. The Enterprise center would be PACKED. And to round it out, The Sweet 16 game would be vs Kansas.
QUESTION: If you were on the selection committee (not a UNI fan, just on the committee), would you set up a possible 10 year UNI-Kansas sweet sixteen reunion?Last edited by sivert; 01-30-2020, 03:22 PM.
