Game 15 - Indiana State

[Blue42]

The last 3 minutes of every game our offense becomes one guy dribbling and 4 guys watching.

[orangetennis]

Austin's best game in a while

[MNpanthers]

Not sure why the Trees are drawing this one out. Maybe they will help us get a better net win

[Blue42]

A lot of subs in 2nd half tonight.

Noah in game with 3 minutes left...very rare.

Well, blowouts are nice and relaxing, but close games like this are a better learning and growing experience for the team and hopefully better for us in the long run.

Double win

Not the prettiest win, but I'll take it. Brown, Carter, and Berhow have not had their shot at all the last two games but we still won. Gonna need shots to fall on the road or we aren't gonna win many road games.

Overall I thought the Panthers played well. AJ was double teamed for much of the game. In those situations Isaiah or Ty have to shoot an open shot with confidence. A few times tonight our offense stalled because only 2 guys on the floor were willing to pull up. I thought kimmons played well, and phyfe had a bounce back game. Aj gave us just enough at just the right time. It was great to see Trae back about 50%. I'm still waiting to see 100% from him in Valley play. Let's Go Panthers!

Good teams win, great teams cover, line was 7.5 and we won by 8. It's all gravy.

Obviously shooting well on the road is big time, but defense also travels well with us, so as long as don't have a meltdown like we had in the 2nd half against ISURed I feel pretty good about our chances.

[Neighbor]

I will say Betz played well. He has great hands and can shoot it well. He finds himself lost from time to time (any freshmen will)
the shot he took to the eye was a cheap shot and Heimerman knows it.

Greg Langsing buys his close at Roy Williams Goodwill.

Jake needs to have more faith in those 3 freshman

Indiana State is really good. That's a good win and hopefully it stays in Quad 2.

Drake won meaning were in 1st place.

Nice defensive effort tonight, especially if you take away the first 5 minutes if the 2nd half - although they had a few breakaway layups in that time. Indiana St made some real tough buckets inside tonight. Big game for Austin, but we could really use Isaiah hitting shots again. I'd really like to see us get some easy buckets when teams double AJ, just to make them back off him a bit. I was pleasantly surprised to see 2 freshmen on the court mid way through the 2nd too. Let's go get one on the road now.
