I believe he re-signed on July 7. I read this season's salary is $1,801,769. Not sure of the particulars. Hard to say where he is in the lineup, though, but I'm sure he will have a better season.

Reading further along AJ will be an unrestricted free agent in 2026. So, it appears he did sign a multi-year contract on July 7.

Yup, I was curious once you brought it up…

        • And another good article with some contract info and more importantly how he may be used & his value to the Bucks…

A.J. Green signed a multi-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks this summer following an impressive time as a two-way player. Is he the Bucks secret weapon?

Not bad at all compared to the other shooting guards and the rest of the league.

I wasn’t speculating about AJ being traded. I was wondering more about whether other PGs might get brought in.

If AJ is going to be used more as a SG, mainly catch and shoot and not as a PG, then I would think they need a backup PG besides Liddell and AJJ.

Actually, AJ was an unrestricted free agent July 1-6, 2023, during the negotiation process of his current 3 year deal. No worries, one week give and take is reasonable.

                • AJ isn't a point guard in the NBA. Full stop.

He's a catch and shoot and hustle guy.

He's got the frame and potential to be a decent defender as well.

Jrue himself was never a "true point" and Grayson leaving can only help.

Malik Beasley is on the team now, so who knows what that means, but it certainly seems they want to invest in AJ and his season last year was quite honestly about as goo as he could have hoped for

I would think Beasley at 12 ppg 7 years in gets the nod to start. AJ looks like his backup. It's ok I like his chances for more minutes this season. If Green continues to add to the stats he improves his chance of starting.

                        • Bucks are playing preseason. AJ listed as “game time decision” along with four clear starters.

EDIT. AJ out with calf strain.

Yes. Super fast on those 5 shots and twice he was covered up and made good passes.

Timme seemed to really want to show he could euro-spin into shots - and didn’t.
