They’ve left Betz alone at out there a lot

Man, Campbell is really a guy who just makes good plays

not forcing anything, our length on the permitter could be huge to mitigate some interior concerns

      born looking great

Heise has had better days, offensively at least

I really love what I'm seeing so far. They're just playing smart basketball for the most part. We're very poised for a great season this year and an even better one next.

Alright, good first half. Room for improvement, and Richmond wasn't exactly flawless, but pretty good half. Hopefully the refs let them play a bit in the second half.

Not bad, sounds like a good effort so far by the Panthers...

Need to get Heise and Campbell going. Can't complain about Betz, Anderson, and Born at all. Maybe one of Duax or Wolf off the bench need to make some contributions and we stand a good chance...

I honestly love what I’ve seen. Anderson and his continued development over the season is going to be something awesome to watch. I think this team definitely has the ability to fight for the 3 spot in the conference this year. If betz can be a poor man’s Noah carter we will probably be fine. He needs to hit 3’s at a 30ish % clip to keep the D honest.

If Betz can shoot the 3 around 30-40% for the year, it'll really cause problems for whoever is guarding him.

Both teams missing perimeter shots. A lot of our misses have been wide open though.
Defense has looked solid but having trouble staying in front of that young point guard.
I'm happy we're within 5 at half but the offense has been tougher to come by after the first ten minutes. Someone other than Bowen is gonna have to get hot in 2nd half for us to have a shot.

Born is fearless. Not afraid to attack guys bigger than him, I love it.

Born playing great. A lot of loose balls went their way. Both teams shooting terrible from 3 (UNI=18%, Rch=14%).
Defense is working, even with a size difference inside.

My concern is that our made shots have mostly been one-on-one (or one-on-three by Bowen a couple times). I don’t see us using motion to get guys open. 2 team assists in the first half.

It's nice to know that, no matter what, we will never, ever be able to open the second half playing well. Or even okay.

Starting off a bit choppy in the second half. Could really use a nice offensive set and score coming out of this TO (14:51 left, second half) Jake...

Man, Richmond is very good on defense. Textbook contesting on guys who we know can make tough layups.

While Nate is great at D and a good athlete we have to have more consistency out of him on the scoring side. He really needs to take that step this year. At this moment he is 1-6. He’s not the reason we are down but he needs to help a little more. He will definitely get his own this season. Just a bit more consistency would be great.
