We have a chance to really put Belmont behind the 8 ball in the conference race if we best them Wednesday. 3 losses before January 10th with 3 teams unbeaten would be a real back breaker.

Wow, kind of a meltdown finish for Belmont. They led by 7 under 2 minutes to go. 4 turnovers and one bad call later and Southern had the lead. Two of the turnovers were dumb mental mistakes.

Man... I'm watching Colorado State/UNLV (gotta support Ali!) and I just don't get Mountain West basketball. It is the sloppiest, most unnecessarily physical basketball I see every single time I watch. I don't get the love for this conference. I need someone to explain to me why they play a completely different brand of basketball than anyone else I see in any other conference.
