    NIU is 305 in KenPom.

It would be their highest KenPom finish in 6 years.

This is a get in, get out, run up the metrics game.

I agree to a certain extent. Just curious to see how they play. I watched the ULM game last night and they have decent shooters/scorers as a team. The problem is that they just don't play very good defense at all. I hope we get some minutes for Geon and Ismael in particular tomorrow, but we do need to keep defending the 3 point line like we have been.

T3 Bracketology used Bart Torvik's formula for just the 1st two weeks to get rid of the preseason expectations and the results were really interesting. We are sitting at 34 on that list which is great, but Saint Mary's is at 4! They are a very good team, and that will far and away be our toughest game this year in non conference and most likely the whole season.

I think we all kind of knew that coming into the season, but I kind of like getting rid of the preseason ranking aspect of the formula.

That Saint Mary's game is going to be a tough one for sure. They have 3 guys at 7 feet tall. None of their games so far have even been close. ESPN's matchup predictor, which doesn't mean a ton always, only has us with a 10% chance of winning that game.

Tulsa had K State beat and a terrible turnover gave K State the win at the end. Need to beat Loyola to get a game with them

Oakland only lost by 4 at UCF

Of all the teams that SIU could lose to, they lose to a team that has a big-headed fan base. Barf.

LOL. You act like they even acknowledge basketball exists in Fargo...

Lunardi has UNI up to a 12 seed as the aq from the MVC in the most recent bracketology. It's early but nice to see our name on a line.

Fwiw, that Troy team that barely won at Furman and lost at CSUN now has a win in double OT at San Diego State and just lost in the most brutal of fashions at the buzzer in triple OT at USC, who already rolled Illinois State on a neutral floor.

There is not a worse way to lose than the way Troy did last night. BRUTAL.

Remember when Arlington fired Scott Cross for....reasons? How'd that work out?
