UNI gets an allotment and you should be able to try and buy some thorugh the ticket office. It all depends on where we are sent as to how many will be available. As a lower seed, we will almost certainly be opposite the benches.

Thanks for that info! I figured it'd be through the ticket office regardless, just haven't had an opportunity to go before. Hopefully, we're somewhere out west, Phili might be a bit of a stretch to get to. Flights are pretty pricy from Denver.

I'm guessing we're either a 12 or 13 depending on how the other conference tournaments play out this week.

Here's your cheering guide for this week:
        • Likely want Stephen F. Austin over McNeese State tonight in the Southland (SFA is behind us in most metrics, McNeese is pretty similar to us)
        • Want anyone other than Yale to win the Ivy League (similar in most metrics)
        • If someone other than Liberty or Sam Houston State win C-USA, it can't hurt (both are behind us though in most metrics)
        • Similar to C-USA, someone other than Utah Valley winning the WAC can't hurt (currently behind us in most metrics though anyway)
        • Cheer for UC-Irvine (or CSU-Northridge) to win the Big West - that would give us another win over an NCAA Tournament team

Not sure if purchasing through the UNI ticket office is the way to go. I did that back in 2010 for tickets to the Sweet 16 game in St. Louis. I was at the Purple level of the PSC (it is now the Ever Loyal Club) at that time and needed two tickets. The tickets I got were horrible. We were not in the UNI section at all and so far away from the court we could barely see the players. Apparently there was no limit as to how many tickets the upper levels (like the Platinums) of the PCS could purchase and because I was only at the Purple Level I got the bottom of the barrel. I have often wondered if all the people who got better seats than me were season ticket holders (like I was and am) and drove over 200 miles round trip for every home game. I doubt it.

I think you would be better off not getting tickets through the ticket office.

That's helpful to know as well. I still might call and just ask and see, regardless. Maybe they could tell me the section, if they have that info at all.

San Diego might be a pain in the ass because that building only seats 12,000 though Arizona will be in the other session so that helps. No idea how they keep getting the tournament there.

Our old friends at Missouri State knocked off Liberty in the quarterfinals of their conference tournament. That was a big one for us.

With that Liberty loss, I think we're absolutely locked into the 12 line.

Whoever wins CUSA is going to be a 13/14 and we're ahead of McNeese and a coin flip with USF and Yale (if they win their tournaments)

Miami (OH) getting upset by UMass... That will likely push them to Dayton, right? If a few more things fall our way, we could sneak into an 11 seed.

Possibly. If Akron wins the MAC they could be on the 11/12 line as well. Ideally, I'd like to see someone other than Akron win it.

Miami losing will be a major factor in really telling how the selection committee views mid major teams. Their resume outside of being undefeated in the regular season doesn't look great, but with how weak the bubble is this year I would be surprised if they weren't one of the last 4 in unless more chaos happens in the power conferences.

They'll get sent to Dayton but have absolutely no business getting a bid. You can't play the 364th schedule and then cry nobody will play you. I GUARANTEE if he'd have placed a call to Cedar Falls, he'd have had that game.

Not gonna lie, with all the Bruce Pearl commentary the last week or so, I'd love to see Miami (OH) vs. Auburn in Dayton

So Auburn can win by 20 and make it even harder for MMs to get bids?

Miami played the 364th best schedule in the country and is basically Colorado State metrically. They have no business sniffing an at large.

I feel good about matching up with virtually all of the teams we could see in the 4-5 pods...except Texas Tech. Boy would that be a really tough matchup.
