    I am not predicting a 13 seed.
There are 6 chances for a sub 71 NET team to win their conf tournament. (Well, and Rutgers "could.")
We need one of them to get the 12.

Them and Tennessee for me, as long as Ament is healthy. The team I'm hoping we get that I feel we match up really well with is Vanderbilt.

They are also without their best player right now FYI

Looking at the 4-5 seeds, we are very likely to be matched up with a major P4 program. Kansas, Tenn, Texas Tech, UNC, etc. Should be fun, and I can guarantee whomever we face is not going to be excited to see us on that line.

Of those options I like Wichita State's chances the best. Would be surprised if one of VCU or Saint Louis didn't win the A10 and if one of Utah State/New Mexico/San Diego State didn't win the MW. I have a hard time seeing anyone beating Akron or Yale as well, and relying on one of those Big East teams to beat UConn or St. John's is a pipe dream.

My question would be this: In the scenario Wichita State gets in, will the committee favor the head-to-head matchup or the NET ranking more if a whole seed line was at stake?

Also, you're missing the America East champion who I'm assuming will have a 100+ NET as well, either UMBC or Vermont. So the 12 already looks pretty solid, I think there's a solid chance we could move to an 11 potentially.

I could care less what number we have next to our name. It's all about the matchup when you get to the tournament. If the guys play like they did in STL, we should have a decent chance against anyone.

I watched them play in person without their best player and win convincingly in Hilton. They are the absolute last team I want to see.

They also shot like a billion percent from 3 that afternoon. That doesn't happen against us.

Whoever wins CUSA is going to be a 13/14 and we're ahead of McNeese and a coin flip with USF and Yale (if they win their tournaments)
FWIW Lunardi moved us down to a 13 with McNeese and High Point ahead as 12. USF clears us pretty easily, though Yale is comparable. We truthfully should clear High Point, but I don't know how much Lunardi values the garbage espn BPI that has us at 108 where everything else is 60-70s.

Lunardi is also not good at this anymore as well...

They did, but I'm not going to be willing to say that WON'T happen against us when it did happen against Iowa State, in Hilton.

I appreciate the "I don't care what our seed is" comment. But, it's fun to anyway!

We like that Villanova and Grand Canyon lost.
We don't like that Xavier, Buffalo, Ohio, and Colorado St lost.

EDIT: I put "73 Nevada" in both "Root for" and "Root against." That's because, as expected, they have surpassed us in NET. (now: 70 Nevada, 71 UNI) If Nevada wins their tourney, they will be further above us. Possibly, the committee will give us a bump due to Tristan's absence in some of our losses and put us past Nevada(if they win out).

I completely agree! Nothing better than crunching numbers to see where we're going to land.

Georgetown making a surprise run at this point would be a very good scenario for us. But again, hoping it happens is probably still a pipe dream.
