Seems like a really great get for us. Post says he "Averaged 10.2 PPG, 8.5 RPG, and 1.0 BPG while shooting 64.2%."

Kolee is going to be super young when he gets to us (just 17) and he is really just starting to scratch the surface of what type of player he can become. Good height and size, crazy long wingspan, and great athleticism. He is going to be a very versatile defender for us and his offensive game is only going to continue to grow.

We were in Nashville this weekend and it sounds like we were devoting a lot of attention to the Wisconsin Swing basketball team. Makes me think Eli Krueger is a priority recruit for us. Seems interesting with us already getting Kolee, but Krueger would be a huge get.

Kolee looks like more of a rim runner, while Krueger is a more traditional 4/5 tweener type.
I'm excited to see how we use Kolee. Jake never recruited that type of player.

We have offered Charlie King. He's a 6'6" G/F from Des Moines and goes to Roosevelt High School. Really talented kid who is getting a ton of interest from mid majors all over the midwest.

Just did some reading on him. Offers from at least UNI, North Dakota, and South Dakota St, could be others as well. Played a lot for Roosevelt as a freshman and averaged double figures. Scoring averages climbed his next two years, and did all this against large school competition.

One other thing. He deserves credit for staying at Roosevelt all four years despite what had to be offers to transfer to one of the suburban schools here with better resources and more money. He averaged 11ppg as a freshman so those offers would’ve started early.

I don't think we'll shrink down. Abe and Tutt have contacts all over the place and I assume Carlson does as well.

And Charlie King has committed! He also had offers from South Dakota State and North Dakota. He seems like a kid who would get a good amount of buzz this year. It seems like we have really gone after some high upside guys with these first two commitments.
