Well they have seemed to be some of the more level headed and logical posters in the short time that I've been on these boards...but part of that might be more because they haven't been worth squat in football or basketball since I showed up....and because people like Lakes make others look tame.

Words can't describe how badly I want to beat SIU.

Farley has yet to beat Dale Lennon correct? I'm sure he feels the same way. Lennon even beat us with U of North Dakota in that terrible upset in the Dome. SIU has won 3 straight against UNI but UNI holds a 15-14 record in the all-time series.

7 of the last 8 games between these two teams have been decided by 7 or fewer points. But UNI has 14 interceptions to 0 thrown, which is the best margin in all of Division 1 (FCS or FBS) football. I have a feeling UNI may be winning this one by more than 7 points. The #2 scoring defense in the nation will be in full effect Saturday!! Get ready Salukis.

I almost forgot! SIU will be bringing Jewel Hampton back to the state of Iowa. He transferred there to play RB after 3 seasons as a Hawkeye.

Anyone have any idea on the ticket situation? I have 4-6 going to the game. Normally, I would just buy tickets today and be done with it, but 2 of the guys won't know if they can go until later in the week. Any chance this sells out before Saturday?

Wouldn't surprise me if it's a sell out (> 16,300) but I would be surprised if they weren't still selling tickets come Saturday.

IIRC hampton played behind a stud RB than went to Va Tech most of high school which is why he wasnt highly recruited. quite a run for warren central.
