Not in the same league as Ginger. Most Mary Ann pickers know they would have no shot with Ginger so they subconsciously pick the more accessible one, that being Mary Ann. I thought I preferred Mary Ann until I searched deep into the recesses of reruns after middle school and had to face fact: Ginger.

It was the constant "fun" little anecdotes about the Iowa team and players. I heard about almost all of the "young Hawkeyes" and their backgrounds, how hard they work in practice to improve, how they are getting better, how their bodies are built for the Big 10, how Lick is building a team etc, etc, etc. Those aren't things you usually hear about an "opposing" team. I don't remember a single anecdote or fun fact about UNI...because the annoncers don't know UNI like they should. The Hawks were the "home" team to those two announcers and that shouldn't happen on the PANTHER network. It would be fine if that were a Hawkeye broadcast...just like it was in the 80's with the Hawkeye Television Network. I'm not going to bash on the skills (or discussed lack there of) regarding the two guys doing the broadcast...simply that UNI needs to do better quality control on a product with their name on it.
