This game, due to tiebreaker situations, is probably even bigger than the one we just played. With Valpo only being a game behind us, a loss would be disastrous because it would essentially put them a game ahead of us due to the head to head sweep. Guys are really locked in, hopefully will have Ty back, I really feel like there will be a good crowd. Let's do this thing!

They really killed us in the paint the first time we faced them, we have to be able to limit that. Might need JD to step in and take some minutes with their size.To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

The model right now has UNI at about a 17% chance of a Thursday game. Looking solely at only the UNI/Valpo game and excluding any potential shifts in Sagarin ratings, a win on Saturday reduces the Thursday odds to about 2%, whereas a loss increases it to about 45%.Originally posted by UNI Ka-Bullseye View PostHow are our Avoid Thursday probabilities looking now that the mid-week games went about perfectly for us? I think with a win here we should be nearing the safe zone.

Dang. UNI social media peeps (I'm just on FB) are killing it this week. They've posted about winning free tickets to the last home game, a free UNI branded scooter for students at this weeks game, a video of Coach Jake asking people to show up and more all within the last 24 hours it feels like. Well done media people!

So you're saying this game is the Ron Burgundy of games. Kind of a big deal.Originally posted by Hacksaw View Post

I hope they're doing more to advertise the scooter, which will be given away at the Loyola game. A couple tweets may not be enough to get word around. Posters in dorms, signs on campus, email, etcOriginally posted by kochrab View PostDang. UNI social media peeps (I'm just on FB) are killing it this week. Its an award that has the potential to fill the student section up, college kids love scooters. I'll be pretty dissapointed if the student turnout isn't great cause it'll be an indication they did a poor job getting the word out

It's also the "passport" game for the men's team as well for the free Arch Madness packet, I'm expecting a big turnout.Originally posted by MNpanthers View Post

I
I showed up in my Facebook newsfeed this afternoon.
