Spencer is a good player to have. Very smart, and his shooting ability is big. There’s some merit to your post though. Pickford is awfully good defensively and on the boards.

Mudra is just a mean, angry old man and brings absolutely nothing worth anyone's time when he does post on here. Honestly, I have enjoyed this board more ever since I started ignoring him, and I would suggest everyone else do the same.

Tywhon is terrific for his toughness and ability to rebound, but I agree; we need Spencer's offense out there.

We need both guys healthy, but I think last night showed how much better Tywhon is starting. Spencer had an excellent season a year ago, coming off the bench. I really like what both guys bring to the table, and think they're both better off that way. We need that offensive punch of Spencer's coming off the bench, we don't have that right now.

          • Let's see how the next game or two that Spencer misses goes, but I kind of like Pickford starting too. Just seems like he played at another level last night, if starting gets him to that level, let's do it. Either way, both guys need to be playing 25+ minutes.

Not sure when that started, but it needs to keep going
Are you referring to this guy?

              He does a great job.

Great pictures by Nic as well

              • Pickford starting works if Berhow or Brown are contributing on offense. Things get stale in a hurry if they are not.

                  • Childs re-injured his hand playing in this game and is having surgery and is now out indefinitely. Huge loss for Bradley. Probably shouldn’t have rushed back.

                    • Wardle not caring about the safety and well-being of his players?

                      I refuse to believe it.

                        19

That's the number of days between Childs breaking his hand and taking the court against UNI.

19 days to recover from a broken hand

19 days for a guy who plays a physical brand of basketball to recover from a broken hand.

How in the flying hell did he get clearance to play? I refuse to believe the answer is anything other than Wardle not giving a damn about the medical staffs actual advice and "asking" them if Childs is ready to play while holding a sign up to them saying "clear him or your fired"

Wow, he did go down hard at one point, but he stayed in the game, didn't he? I guess that's why you don't rush guys back.

Played 25 minutes. Tried to play through it though i'm guessing he was in a ton of pain and after the game/this AM his hand was unusable.

3-6 weeks is the normal recovery for the surgery so I'm sure Wardle will say, starting tomorrow, that 3 weeks is when he will be back

                              • I thought it was just a broken finger, or at least that's what the TV crew said during the game. I'm confused, is this the same injury or a new one?
