Playing time sells. Lottich seems content slapping a bandaid on the problem and saving his job every year. Rather than fixing the real issue, that no incoming Freshman wants to have a full career there.Originally posted by CyCarp View Post
Valpo has had an interesting offseason already. Pulling in 2 kids from Wisconsin and another from Michigan St.
Maybe that's the best they can put together with their facilities anyways.

Already seeing some Twitter chatter that he's going P5. The last 2 seasons for the D2 national champs he's averaged 22+ ppg and shot 45%+ from 3. Seems like he'd be a great get, but might be beyond our reach.Originally posted by DownGoesKansas View PostIf we are going to use our last scholarship on someone, it should be transfer F Ryan Hawkins from Atlantic IA and NW Missouri State.

Yea, I would imagine. Im not smart enough to project players like that. I am confident he will be a good player wherever he goes. Just not sure on role at various levels.Originally posted by CyCarp View Post

Yea, I don't know to much about the kid other than his stats that are available online. With that said, here is a new article where he says he wants to stay close to home. Drake, Iowa St, Iowa, Creighton, etc are all closer to his hometown than us, but who knows.

That’s a hell of a thing for a DII player to make that jump. Any info on which schools are involved?Originally posted by CyCarp View Post

Reading the attached article, he’s probably done all he can at NWMSU, so you can’t blame him.

Yea, he's going well beyond our reach. Apparently he has a call with Kansas today. It is a bit funny, he said he grew up an Iowa State fan, so he won't even consider going to Iowa.Originally posted by SteinPizza View Post
