I think this series is exactly why Nick Nurse has been slow playing Detroit. He wanted to see what happened in the first couple rounds before committing to a full rebuild.

Nurse has his flaws too but he wouldn't have gotten his ass routed by an 8 seed whether Jimmy Butler existed or not.

Bucks fired Bud. Nick Nurse, come on down!
Yeah, a D+ effort out of me on the day I created the name for this account. I didn't think I would use this account more than once.

Haven't seen any Nurse to Milwaukee chatter yet. First round of interviews doesn't include him.

Finally heard news on Nurse this week.
Apparently he is expected to interview with the Sixers, Suns and Bucks over the coming week.

If Duncan Robinson can have a role on a good team in the league, AJ can play for a decade...

Yes. Both he and Austin Reaves.

AJ signed a Two-Way qualifying offer with the Bucks.

He can negotiate with other teams for a full roster spot until Saturday, if he doesn't sign with anybody else he's locked in on the Two Way with the Bucks again for the year.

                    All good news!

Maybe it's my homerism, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see AJ get an offer from somebody. He shot so well last year, both with the Herd and the Bucks. Who wouldn't want a cheap shooter? He's never gonna be a lock down defender, but he's gonna work his ass off and not going to kill you defensively.

Also FWIW, AJ is on the Bucks Summer League roster. Milwaukee's first Summer League game is 7/7.

Amazing. Everyone on Bucks Reddit seems pretty happy about it. I am old enough to remember when they were all pretty sure that he only got that 2 way because his agent was owed a favor by the Bucks.
