What a game. Fun to watch.

You'd have to think momentum is on our side but no Tytan is going to hurt - big time.

Game changing call on Anderson. Don’t know if we can get it done for 5 minutes without him but here we go.

At the under 4 you say we’re in OT, you’re probably happy

What exactly does Trey do well?

This is what smart teams do during overtime...just drive to the basket and get fouled.

And they are guarding the heck out of the perimeter right now

I don't get the hate for Trey but he does need to put his high school ball behind him. He can't be that careless against D1 competition.
If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

With how aggressive UNT plays defense, it feels like backdoor cuts should have been open all night. Which maybe we could hit if our offense didn't spend half its time with our 5 with the ball at the free throw line extended with his back to the basket desperately looking for someone to come take the ball from him.

Tough loss. That's a game you have to have if you want realistic chance at an at-large (assuming you aren't going 3-0 in B4A)

                        • I am not typically one to complain about officials but we were utterly robbed of that one. Two nonsense calls on the last two defensive possession. Gives them 4 free points, takes away 2 we likely would have had on a fastbreak the other way, and takes one of our best most disruptive players out of the game. Absolutely a joke.

Good news is the NCAA has basically codified that mid majors aren’t allowed at large NCAA bids, or NIT bids of any kind, so it doesn’t matter.

Boy it just sits in your gullet for awhile when you get screwed like that though.

                          • Yea, tough loss. A couple of tough calls at the end of regulation but we had our chances. A lot of positives to take away from the game.

Heise, Anderson, Born, Wolf, Hutson sure looked like the top 5 tonight for sure...

                            • 36% from 3 on 8-22 shooting and 58% from the free throw line on 7-12 are going to cost you on the road. Good learning experience and we are going to need to see improvement from some of these kids in the coming weeks.

                              • Give credit to UNT for making FTs down the stretch. How many in a row is that?
