This further supports the argument that freshman out of HS in the top 50 and above rankings should just go mid major where they will likely start and then consider going for the bag a year or two in. No good in going P5 and getting recruited over in the portal year after year, never playing.

100%. Kayden Fish has a really good skill set and size at 6'6"-6'7". He would be a matchup problem in the Valley, but he has done nothing for two years. He may be really good at Ball State and I hope he is, but the trajectory for many of these kids could be so much better.

It's not like UNI/Jake has ever had many "leaks" before it is known. Sure, some can piece it together based on social media activities and context clues, but rarely are there significant leaks for anything we do as a program. I know they were HS guys but Geon and RJ were largely "out of left field" for the majority of fans and were leaked early because a few people managed to follow the smallest of crumbs to them, then once that happened, it was a "Oh, of course" for most fans. For better, or worse at times, Jake doesn't run a program that is openly throwing offers and having kids flaunt any of it from us. Go back to last off-season even Max and Leon had nothing about them visiting/being offered by UNI on their timelines. Even after it was announced/broken it was a day or two after for both of them to say anything on it.

That's very true, by necessity a much larger net needed to be cast, bound to be more leaks with that being the case.

I would also add, it seems like we are looking for a specific type of player. This narrows our search and player pool even more. Really, all we need to do is just follow Tuttle's twitter and wait for the sponge bob post
