JT Rock is the better fit if we are going after a big.

Fish had his chance to come here last year and chose the check and the end of the bench.

I'd rather Jalen Wilson get those minutes.

Just saw he was in and thought the same.

Demarion Watson is also in the portal from ISU and I know we recruited him out of high school.

I was looking at Cristoph Tilly's video and he looks like he would be a perfect fit in the offense at 7'0". He's transferring from Santa Clara and I have no idea if there's even any interest but I attached his video below.https://youtu.be/MCKEAgtYvNg?si=KXmVfY1P7UYYqON2

I missed this one a few days ago but Matt Reed is in the portal from Tulsa. He's a 6'10" kid that we offered out of high school. He has a lot of skill and I could see him being a logical fit with our history. We were in his final 4 out of high school. Highlights from Tulsa below:

Any idea if he was injured or something? He went from the AAC All-Freshman team last year to playing 10 minutes a game, even less towards the end of the season this year.
To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

I think his game is just not a good fit for the conference. There are a lot of very athletic bigs in that conference. I haven't seen anything to indicate he was injured. I still think he would fit the offense really well. I really liked him out of high school and think a change of scenery would do him well.

Belmont portal entries starting to come in. Isaiah Walker and Aidan Braccia are in the portal.

Ramondo Battle II is in the portal from Evansville.

Sounds like Orme and Scharnowski are going to come back to Belmont. That's big.

I never question Casey's ability to have good guards. They'll be fine.

Full rebuilds at Valpo, Evansville, Indiana State, Drake. Bradley loses a ton to graduation.

Every year is a new year. It's just going to take some getting used to.

Looks like Bennett Stirtz will follow McCollum to Iowa as expected. Will be interesting to see how many others, including their incoming freshmen, decide to follow him.

Manyawu, Banks, Combs and Howard are definitely going to end up in Iowa City.

Stirtz is going through the Draft process, as he should, and may end up in an AJ situation. I could definitely see somebody throwing a two way at him and he'd be insane not to take it.

I think Stirtz can play in the NBA. His game translates well and he's athletic enough to do it. His feel for the game is pretty rare.
