You never know with the type of roster turnover we see these days but CSUN has won 41 games the last two years so they're doing something right. Pretty long history of mediocrity previous to 23-24 though.

I'm done hearing about the Mountain West being so great.

Their better teams have picked up losses to Hawaii Pacific (Boise), USC Upstate (Fresno) and UT Martin (UNLV). That league is a fraud and the Valley if given the same number of bids would have, minimum, 3x the wins.

I feel like they've been overrated for years. Which is odd, because typically those teams out west don't get the coverage that others do and they're kind of underrated.

They're using their football money to game the metrics. They use football money to load up on buy games and run up efficiency numbers.

Think of all the good Valley teams that did not get a chance to play in the tourney over the last 10 years. UNI, Illinois State, Loyola, Drake, Bradley all have had teams good enough to win NCAA tourney games if the league was respected and given multi bids. All the while the MWC gets obliterated year in and year out in the NCAA. Sad...

I watched the 2nd half of Bradley. Not impressive. Doesn't seem like they have the length or shooting that they have had recently.

Watched some highlights of this game. South Dakota State was down 1 with 6:30 to go. Oregon only put some distance in the last few minutes. I think the UNI victory over SDSU will age well.

Bradley doesn't have anybody that can consistently put the ball in the bucket and they don't defend and rebound well enough to overcome it. The roster construction is suspect.

In better news, SIU looks good. Got to OT at Nevada last night and had they shot free throws better in OT they probably win. Nagy can coach. I think they make a run at a bye.

They do. Quel'Ron House is also really good.

I like SIU better than Drake and Bradley at this point.
