SIU and Murray absolutely have a say right now, but it's certainly us and them for a clear top 3.

Belmont is also in that conversation. We'll know a lot more about them after this week, they're at ORU and have the rivalry game with Lipscomb. Unfortunately, they're in a terrible MTE and, other than Irvine and Charleston at the end of December, they really don't play anybody.

So long as they win those games and avoid bad losses in MVC play, though, that very well could be enough.

Speaking of sucks, we really gotta find a way to schedule Minnesota as a buy game. They are reliably pretty horrible, and that'd be a heck of a recruiting trip for us.

I would hold off on that, Niko cam really coach, I think he will have them playing good basketball sooner rather than later.

I watched UC Irvine play Weber St. last night. Irvine is very aggressive and physical on defense. They really forced Weber to go inside for points and pushed them off the 3 point line. Irvine is at 136 in KenPom while Weber St. is at 241. Irvine handled them pretty well but it was interesting to watch leading up to our game in the future.

FWIW Bart Torvik has Irvine at 103 and Weber at 292 so a pretty big discrepancy there.

I'm going to watch the replays of NIU against Wisconsin and ULM before Tuesday.
