Huge. I was hoping that's what Tuttle was referring to with his tweet of, "Let's gooooo!!!!!!! Big things ahead for our panthers!!! #FAMILY" a bit ago.To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.Comment

And to think, I thought this thread was a joke when it started 2 and a half years ago.Originally posted by OhNewby View PostTo avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.Comment

YES!!! UNI basketball should be fun to watch for the next few years!"My role is to lead, plain and simple. . . .I with the help of my staff and our administration, we will lead." --Ben JacobsonComment

I had goosebumps when the news broke. Seriously so damn excited. This is huge and makes the future so fun to think about. It's Friday afternoon at about 2:45 and I'm having a heck of a hard time concentrating on work!"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."Comment

this is fantastic...have been nervous about this for awhile...great to see AJ become a PantherComment

I'd like to think I had some impact on this telling him he was going to play for the Panthers when he was a ball boy nailing 3 after 3 when the team was in the locker room. Great day for the program hopefully he is able to bring a couple of friends with him.Comment

Full court press on Tyrese Haliburton and Riley Abercrombie. I'd take Shea Mitchell or Elijah Parquet as well and tell McDermott he's paying his own way.
Jake is more aggressive right now than he's ever been. Last year pissed him off. We're going to own this league. Own it.Comment

So freaking pumped about the direction of this program! Thank you for making the right choice AJComment
