According to the release on the UNI website, the UNI-UL game will be on the NBC Sports Network on Thanksgiving night! Some of the games will be televised on AXS TV which was just launched by Mark Cuban - it was formerly HDNet. It is currently not available on Mediacom, but looks like it is on Direct and Dish.

i pretty much love anything NBC sports. they have pumped a ton of money into their coverage and delivery.

I think it would be cool if they put in a temporary court next to the beach and played outdoors every year. It would give them something unique for their event. Teams play outdoors on an aircraft carrier every year. Why not the Bahamas?

They could put up a temporary roof for a week. It couldn't be much more expensive than building a temporary court in the hotel ballroom. That's just a weird setup anyway.

For those interested, we've been previewing the various MTEs and today I posted my Battle 4 Atlantis writeup. I really like UNI this year and I think they'll surprise some of the national guys in the Bahamas.

The flight will be a non-stop charter flight from Waterloo to Nassau and returning non-stop to Waterloo.The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team will be taking part in the 2012 Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas on Nov. 22-24. Travelers interested in flying with the UNI Panther men's basketball team on the trip can purchase the cost of the flight and game tickets for $1,100.

Does anyone know if this includes tickets to all the games-or just UNI's games?

Can we please keep the focus on the upcoming UNI season and not talk about our potential opponents? People are going to think you have an issue with the Gophers.
