With the number of normal walkup people, this should be a sellout. I'm curious what they have as capacity currently since they don't have the bleachers at the top of the bowl currently. Thought capacity had dropped recently.Originally posted by MNpanthers View Post
Less than 600 now supposedly. Definitely on pace to sell out

What are they doing with the beer garden area now that beer is sold elsewhere? I thought they used to get extra capacity from that.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post

Otherwise I think it's 6,650 or something

I believe they have different PSC stuff up there, but I'm not for certain. I definitely remember the year Drake was ranked they sold standing room only seats up there, made for a really good environment.Originally posted by MNpanthers View Post

The "old" beer garden is available for group events. I would think it could be opened for standing room again if it has not been previously booked. Same thing for the bowl overlook. If there is no booking for a private party, it could be used. The bleachers are available from storage on the north wall.

Only a capacity of 6400 or so, which is a bummer. They also have 800 tickets set aside for students, which is disappointing because I've got a feeling there won't be 800 students at the game.Originally posted by kochrab View PostApparently there was a huge push in ticket sales since yesterday. Only about 350 tickets left for the game on Saturday. I wish I lived close to CF! Looks like it'll be a fun atmosphere.

Holding 800 tix for the students is absolutely outrageous. There has not been 800 students at a game in YEARS, let alone this season. Those tickets should all be sold to the public for $10, as it has been proven time and time again that they will buy them.UNI FIGHT

Do you think there's any chance that they'll sell those if it doesn't fill up early?Originally posted by 06panther10 View PostHolding 800 tix for the students is absolutely outrageous. Absolutely not. Selling the tickets would be absolutely outrageous.Originally posted by 06panther10 View PostHolding 800 tix for the students is absolutely outrageous. Tickets are built into tuition and they'd be denying something they have a paid right to.
Give them a chance, what a ridiculous take. Yea just give up on the students. The reason college sports exist in the first place

I've been a pro student section for YEARS, I literally stood in the student section while I was still in High School and once I got to college, but was going to Wartburg. The student section is a joke compared to what it used to be. There used to be multiple rows of purple and gold overalls leading the charge, now there's one or two. We haven't lost a home game all year, and on a Sunday afternoon with no football to compete with the student section was maybe 60-70% full. I am 100% for selling those tickets if they get to 45 minutes before tip and they're still available.Originally posted by MNpanthers View Post
