  • I think the Big 10 has a better chance at 10 or 11 teams in the tournament then the MVC getting two.

    • Loyola just lost to the Salukis 68-63 so the Panthers have sole posesion of 1st place.

      • Down goes Loyola.

Personally I think it's a good thing to get some separation in the standings and get us closer to the 1 seed. I don't think the NET impact of that game is going to mean too much in the end

        • Drake loses a close one to Indiana State to fall to 5-4 in the MVC.
Give us a yell, HO! The purple and the gold
          Victory for U-N-I!

Find out what the other team wants to do, then take it away from them.

          • It would be nice be see SIU get to 135 or better in NET, to make that loss look a little better - Q2 rather than Q3.
To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

            • South Carolina just picked up a really nice road win at Arkansas.

              • While I certainly won't complain about a game of separation for first, I do think that a hypothetical Q1 win in Chicago (which seems unlikely now) would be better in the long run. Regardless, don't need to worry about opponents if we just keep winning.

                • And we are no longer ISUr’s only conference win. Next goal is to not become Evansville’s first on Saturday.

                  • So Ill whoopin' on Drake in Des Moines. Suddenly the Salukis are looking real spooky. To the point where I want that at large secured before St Louis, because I don't know how good I'd feel to see them there.

That loss to them at their place isn't really a bad loss anymore.

                      • Loyola Bradley should be a good one. Packed house at Gentile looks good on national TV. Gotta think we are cheering for Bradley in this one though.

Also they might have the best court design in the country, it's gorgeous.

Also also I still think all the scarves are ridiculous

I think they’re nice tradition. I’m going to our game in Chicago and I bought a purple and gold one.

It's a good tradition and anything that encourages engagement is good but it certainly isn't intimidating! If anything it looks warm and welcoming for away teams
