He's got to lower his stance with the ball against defensive pressure. If he can take care of the ball, his passing and ball handling will get him some minutes.Originally posted by BrockLesnar View Post
Peksari made significant improvement as time went on this season. He's far from home and needed an adjustment period. He's a good shooter and passer. Now, he knows something about defenses too.If computers ruled college basketball the way they do football, we'd have skipped all this March Madness monotony and just waited a month for the Kansas-Kentucky title game. And watched Northern Iowa play Cornell in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl. ~ Dwight Perry The Seattle Times

His stance bringing the ball up gave up some crucial turnovers last year. We'll see how much he's improved. Maybe someone who can help him learn would be Trey Campbell. When he brings the ball up he is low to the ground and has his arm up to protect the ball.Originally posted by UNIAlum95 View Post

Trey gave up more on ball steals than anyone on the team! He needs significant improvement in this area as well.Originally posted by PantherGuy4LIFE View Post

The key to bringing the ball up court against pressure is to put the defender on the defensive. Go at him, accelerate across the time line!
Steals happen when the ball handler isn't aggressively making a move with the ball. He's a sitting duck for the defender, who goes on the offensive and attempts a steal. But it's really hard to steal the ball if you're retreating, trying to stick with the ball handler. So put him on the defensive and go at him!

Trey had the ball stolen way too often and to make it worse, he almost always fouled the defensive player trying to get the ball back.Originally posted by orangetennis View Post

Trey may have had a lot of turnovers but he was just a freshmen forced into a tough roll against good teams. He made some mistakes but he had a good stance bringing up the ball he just got it picked off in my opinion.Last edited by PantherGuy4LIFE; 04-11-2023, 09:20 AM.

I don't know, you basically get a free UNI t-shirt once a week just by existing on campus, so I don't know as if people are going to be pressing to buy some pretty hefty priced ones.Originally posted by sevelev711 View PostYeah, I'm not in a spot where I can spend 40 bucks on a t-shirt and feel good about it, but some of those are definitely fresh as hell. Wish they got a bit more of a push, I could see a lot of college kids getting some of these if they knew about them.

Free t-shirts are cheaply made and generic in design. There's a reason they're free. These shirts are incredible.Originally posted by Username View Post

It can be tough to find UNI gear doesn't look like it came off of a Walmart assembly line.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post

I think this line is impressive, they did some research here. A tweet said they found one of these logos on a 1980s basketball jersey picture. I've never actually seen the sleeping panther logo in my life tbhYeah, a D+ effort out of me on the day I created the name for this account. I didn't think I would use this account more than once.
