I do know some people over there and the entire roster of 23 will return. Plus a new recruiting class. I'm sure Gauger will land somewhere, but not at UIU.Last edited by BrockLesnar; 03-12-2021, 02:02 AM.

Ah, gotcha. Yes, I agree.Originally posted by UNIdad View Post
Sounds like you and I are both just "trolling" for definitive information. I'm still waiting to hear anything directly from a St. Louis health official. I think it would be quite informative to hear from their perspective.
I accepted the article posted on here where they referred to anecdotal claims of "false positive," but, yes, no public (or non-public) health official has officially verified anything to the public.

I've been trying to keep up with the transfer portal recently, and a guy named Parker Fox who has been playing at DII Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD just entered. He's 6'8" and pretty athletic. Has lots of highlight dunks, but you will also notice from watching the limited highlights he is not comfortable using his left hand at all. There is some potential there, and I always feel like UNI can use more bigs. I would actually prefer someone Phyfe's size or even bigger, but thought this guy may be worth a mention.

He's worth a mention just ask the NSIC. Probably, not MVC, but was overlooked by the D1 level. He could land in the Summit League.Originally posted by PantherAlum09 View PostI've been trying to keep up with the transfer portal recently, and a guy named Parker Fox who has been playing at DII Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD just entered. Phyfe, will not be with us much longer. Two years at the most. So, we do need another center. Henry, Betz, and Courbet will need another 6' 9" 240 pound type. There will be a significant challenge to decide our one open scholarship. Berhow,, Pickford, and Mar are all gone soon even with all returning next season. Our prized Green is with us two seasons tops.Last edited by BrockLesnar; 03-23-2021, 01:09 AM.

I'll agree that a lottery pick plus another draft pick would be helpful...Originally posted by kochrab View PostIn watching the USC/KU game last night, I wish we could find a couple of players like the Mobley brothers. My goodness. Both tall, athletic, would be a pipe dream for us. Definitely would help.

This kid is getting a ton of interest. Iona already offered him and he had calls with multiple teams including Creighton, Cal, South Carolina, Xavier, Butler, Vandy, Seton Hall, Texas A&M, TCU, New Mexico, Dayton and apparently a ton of others.Originally posted by BrockLesnar View Post

I haven't seen UNI mentioned at all, so I assume that's not something they have looked into.

North Dakota transfer Tyree Ihenacho has heard from us along with Drake, SIU, UNLV, Western Michigan, St. Johns, etc. Summit freshman of the year.
He's a 6'4" PG who averaged 8.7 ppg 5.7 rpg 4.1 apg. Sounds like a UNI player to me, but once again, how many guards do we have minutes for? I guess you get the best talent and worry about that issue later.

Lots of questions. Can never have too much talent.

Lots of questions about who is returning. I think COVID really changed the landscape. Phyfe for example, will be in his fifth season next time even as a redshirt Junior with two years eligibility. He could have his Master's degree at the same time his eligility runs out. How many players are going to want to play college ball at age 25? Many could have good job offers, pro opportunity, or get married and have kids.

[QUOTE= get married and have kids.[/QUOTE]
Done both, and both are overrated. Just kidding, kids are wonderful and so it the wife (most of the time
). It should be stated that the younger generation is getting married later and having kids later than previous generations, so that is a non factor for 95% of the kids coming back.
