In Brock’s defense, he was on the roster and got in the game. Even being an end of the bench NBA guy is FAR more than any UNI player has ever done. Sounds like he’s had a couple of quality games with the “big league club”, but I wouldn’t start taking all this for granted. There’s no such thing as garbage time in his current situation - if you’re on the roster, you’re on the roster and in highly select company.

Last week AJ got playing time due to players sitting out. First Giannis, then Grayson. Yeah, I suppose he’s on the end of the bench. But it’s athletics - injuries will happen and he will keep improving. Fun to watch.

He didn't play for the Herd last night, just the Bucks shot terribly after they sent AJ to the Herd for the next little bit.

Correct. If he's with the Bucks for more than 45 regular season games they have to convert his two way to an NBA deal and double his salary though they can still assign him to the Herd. Not happening but I'm all for him getting PAID.

When you said this I expected him to be +1 or 2, but he was +11 in 25 minutes of an 18 point loss. So that means they were outscored by 29 in the 23 minutes he was on the bench. That just looks off, but if it's accurate, wowsers.

I watched the game. I’m not not sure if the job of a G league coach is to win games or develop certain players at certain times. AJ did not get a lot of minutes. They disintegrated without him in the lineup.

It's a measure of the scoring when a player is in the game. AJ was +11, so the Herd outscored whoever they were playing by 11 while he was in the game. If a guy was -10, they got outscored by 10 when he was in the game.
