And the portal closes April 22 FWIW. Thankfully it has a window and it's not indefinite. Although I would imagine it doesn't have tons of teeth behind it because the NCAA has no balls anyway.Originally posted by GarretW1797 View Post
I misremembered that then, thought it was way later.Last edited by kochrab; 03-29-2025, 08:22 PM.

The NCAA has of course been exposed as a charade. It was there to create the illusion of governance...but was/is really serving at the foot of the major conference universities.Originally posted by kochrab View Post

I take back all the mean things I said about the NCAA over the years, their decisions were chaotic and inconsistent but they kept mid majors in the game. The rule by conference commissioner setup is not going to result in something that we want. I see that tourney team Robert Morris lost their entire starting 5 to the portal. We have a pretty good thing going with Jake; just need to see a few adjustments and tweaks.

31% from 3, but seems to be decent around the basket and rim. A bench player for an ok SOCON team probably isn't my first choice, but it does seem like we're targeting for the hole left at the 4 spot.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View PostReached out to Jeremy Lorenz, 6'8" transfer from Wofford, originally from Wisconsin.

Definitely seems like we are going after someone with a little more athleticism who can fit that 4-5 role. Looks like he has pretty quick feet for 6'8" and the offense looks similar to what we run from the highlights.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View PostReached out to Jeremy Lorenz, 6'8" transfer from Wofford, originally from Wisconsin.
