I just checked, actually kind of eerily similar. That team also lost 6 of 7 in Jan, and then won 13 of their last 14 games to close the regular season and finished 11-7 in the Valley.

That might have been the most ridiculous schedule ever and that's saying something by Jake standards. Between December 5th and December 30th they went Richmond, Fairfax, VA (GMU), Albuquerque, Des Moines, Honolulu, Cedar Falls. No wonder they hit a wall for a couple weeks.

You got me looking at box scores from that year. Completely forgot we won at Wichita in a game where we scored 15 points in the 2nd half.

Yep, its been a brutal stretch.

The other problem is say we slip up in one of the last two and we're going to fall to the 7 because of how everything would shake out.

Huge difference between Evansville and Indiana State if it comes to that.

Just win the last two and take the drama out
